As service robots become more common in hospitality settings, understanding how employees react to and collaborate with these technologies is critical. This research seminar summarises a series of studies that examine how employees perceive and interact with service robots: from their preferences for different types of robots to how job design shapes their willingness to collaborate, and the potential negative outcomes of robot collaboration. The seminar concludes with a new leadership framework designed to help hospitality organizations cultivate effective, positive, and sustainable human–robot collaboration in the workplaces of the future.
